Frequently Asked Questions

Get transparent, technical, and helpful answers about how OrbiloConvert secures your files and optimizes your workflows.

Security & Privacy

Do you store or look at my uploaded files?

No, never. Unlike legacy websites which upload your files to external remote cloud servers, OrbiloConvert processes your PDF and image files right inside your local browser. This is done via Client-Side WebAssembly compilation and JavaScript runtime, which ensures your confidential documents never leave your machine.

Is OrbiloConvert HIPAA, GDPR, or CCPA compliant?

Yes. Because there is no central data harvesting, no tracking, and no documents are uploaded to any server, your usage is inherently compliant with strict corporate and privacy regulations. No records are captured, making it safe for medical, legal, and financial files.

Tool Usage & Support

What are the file size limits?

We do not enforce rigid file size limits. The maximum file size you can process depends purely on your device's memory (RAM) and browser performance. Modern computers and mobile phones can easily handle files up to 100MB+ in our local browser sandbox.

Why do you offer this service 100% free?

We believe simple document utilities should be completely open access without corporate paywalls or limits. Our platform is completely community-supported and optimized for low-cost static serving, allowing us to keep it entirely free for personal and commercial usage without forcing accounts or subscriptions.

Is there a bulk conversion limit?

No. You can merge, split, compress, or convert as many documents as you wish in a single session. There are absolutely no daily limits or cooling-off counters.

Mobile & Compatibility

Does this work on smartphones and tablets?

Yes! OrbiloConvert is designed with mobile-first responsiveness. It is compatible with all modern mobile browsers on iOS and Android (such as Safari, Chrome, and Firefox) with full drag-and-drop and touch capabilities.

Which desktop browsers are supported?

We support Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and any Chromium-based desktop browsers. We recommend updating your browser to the latest version for maximum speed and compatibility.
